As is our tradition, we invite you to join our yearly retrospective series and to (re)discover the year's releases that may have escaped your attention. We kick off with by spotlighting ANARKHON's fifth album, "Obiasot Dwybat Ptnotun," released on March 17th, 2023.
"No star will shine as it hovers with its unfathomable rotted wings in our solar system,
only in total delirium will you be able to pronounce the name of the unfathomable nightmare."
('Only Being In A State Of Total Delirium Will You Be Able To Pronounce The Name Of The Unfathomable Nightmare')
Three years on from the eerie and formidable "Phantasmagorical Personification Of The Death Temple," the Brazilian atmospheric Death Metal group offered up eight brutal new tracks via "Obiasot Dwybat Ptnotun." These compositions delve into the most sinister Lovecraftian depths, demonstrating that 23 years into their journey, ANARKHON continues to grow darker and more powerful with each release.

Sodomic, the band's composer and driving force, shares his plans for 2024:
"ANARKHON, as an entity, will remain dormant, biding its time for a resurgence at the opportune moment. In the interim, my attention is on the European tour with POWER FROM HELL and in crafting new material for this horde. The work on our next album commenced two months ago and will persist into the new year."
