BLUT AUS NORD – "Ultima Thulée" vinyl repress

Originally released in 1995, "Ultima Thulée" marks the beginning of BLUT AUS NORD's bold journey towards transcendence. Spawned during the formative years of Black Metal when also classics like DARKTHRONE's "Panzerfaust" or ULVER's "Bergtatt" saw the light of day, "Ultima Thulée" was one of the first long players to emerge from the now-legendary French underground scene. The eight freezingly cold, yet at the same time dreamlike compositions distinctly display BLUT AUS NORD's unique musical vision and approach to Black Metal.

On February 11th, the ground-breaking decadence of "Ultima Thulée" will be unleashed with an artwork as close as possible to the original release and with enhanced audio mastered specifically for vinyl. The album will be available in three different versions, all on heavy vinyl and coming with a 12"x12" 2-page insert and a download card :

• black vinyl
• aqua blue / electric blue cloudy effect vinyl
• aqua blue / baby blue merge vinyl (exclusive DMP edition). This version also comes with an exclusive silkscreened hand-printed and numbered die-cut slipcase and is limited to 192 copies.

The exclusive DMP edition is only available from our shops (EU, US and Bandcamp) and will be shipped a bit later, on March 3rd.

A shirt with design taken from the exclusive DMP slipcase is also availabe in both man and woman shirt.
