BONG-RA – GODFLESH cover

To celebrate the opening night of their European tour in Budapest, electronic Metal pioneers BONG-RA unveil a striking reinterpretation of the GODFLESH classic, 'Cold World'.

Now available on all streaming platforms, the track is accompanied by a live performance video steeped in the raw, distorted aesthetic that defined the early '90s. Watch here and via Bandcamp:

BONG-RA composer, Jason Köhnen (THE KILIMANJARO DARKJAZZ ENSEMBLE, THE LOVECRAFTIAN SEXTET), shares his thoughts:

"The choice to perform GODFLESH's 'Cold World' comes from BONG-RA guitarist Attila, who had already recorded the song for his own project THE WAITING ONES. GODFLESH being a shared favourite between us we decided it would be a challenge to translate the song into a BONG-RA version and to perform live as the encore to the "Black Noise" set. 'Cold World' is one of many amazing GODFLESH songs, but stands out for the great melodic drive."
