"Symphony of the New World -
Waiting for the end of the world"
Ahead of its official release on November 8th, cinematic Black Metal band ERSHETU unveil a full stream of new album "Yomi". Composer Sacr, conceptualist Void and vocalist Vindsval (BLUT AUS NORD) have crafted six captivating, immersive hymns which explore themes of Death in the Japanese Shinto belief system.

Sacr shares insight into the creation of "Yomi":
"I think "Yomi" is a very immersive album. We immediately know where we are from the first notes of Koto in the title 'Ketsurui'. This is the very essence of ERSHETU. We want the listener to travel. Like when you listen to an original soundtrack, it instantly immerses you in the atmosphere of the film. Hence the importance and richness of the arrangements inherent in the composition and lyrics for ERSHETU."
Void (DMP) expands on the album's conceptual depth:
""Yomi" is built around the notion of 'kami', a divine being in the Shinto religion. Although often translated as God or deity, kami includes other forces of nature, both good and evil, which due to their divinity become objects of reverence and respect."
