AARA unveil 'Felsensang'

Driven by composer Berg's masterful guitar work, 'Felsensang' encapsulates the raw grandeur of nature. Soaring tremolo melodies intertwine with jagged, dissonant riffs, shifting seamlessly between frantic intensity and serene, atmospheric passages. The result is a dynamic soundscape - ferocious yet hauntingly beautiful. Vocalist and lyricist Fluss shares the concept behind 'Felsensang':

"The song 'Felsensang' tells the story of how the four mountaineers were confronted with the onset of stormy weather for the first time at the beginning of their ascent in 1936. The north face of the Eiger is known for its erratic weather conditions, and time and again the climbers had to endure sudden gale-force winds, lashing rain and icefall in the middle of the rock face. It is an attempt to put oneself in the situation of the oncoming forces of nature."
